The Contractor has returned to 17th Avenue at the Railway Crossing near Simpkins Swim Center. There is one lane, two way traffic control on the northbound lane of 17th. The southbound lane sidewalk is closed. Pedestrians are asked to use the northbound lane sidewalk around the work zone and bicycles are asked to share the road through the traffic controlled area.
Vehicles exiting Simpkins Driveway will be directed by the flagger when it is safe to exit. When waiting at a flagger station,
please do not block driveways and side streets.
Work will continue in this area over the next 4 to 5 weeks on
Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30am to 5:30pm.
